About the OBS Clock Overlay
Show the current time on your stream in a selected IANA timezone. Choose 12- or 24-hour display, toggle seconds and date, and adjust the position, theme and font size. Copy the configured URL into an OBS Browser Source. The clock reads the device clock where the overlay runs; it does not contact a time server to correct an inaccurate system clock.

Frequently asked questions
Which clock provides the time?
The overlay uses the clock of the device running it, then formats that time for your selected timezone. Keep that device’s system time accurate.
Does the overlay synchronize with a server?
No. It does not provide server-based time synchronization.
Can I show a different timezone from my computer?
Yes. Select an IANA timezone. The browser applies the timezone rules available on that device.
Is this a countdown?
No. It displays the current time. Use Stream Countdown Overlay for a countdown.
