About the Split / Join Lines

Split text at a literal separator to put each item on its own line, or join existing lines with the separator you choose. For example, splitting A, B, C with a comma and space produces three lines; joining those lines with | produces A|B|C. Use this line splitter and joiner for simple lists, labels and plain-text cleanup. Matching is literal: this tool does not interpret CSV quotes or regular expressions.

Frequently asked questions

How do I turn a comma-separated list into lines?

Choose Split and enter the exact separator used in the list. For A, B, C use a comma followed by a space. Quoted CSV fields need a CSV-aware converter instead.

Can I join lines without spaces?

Yes. Choose Join and leave the separator empty to concatenate the lines.
