The checkerboard is only a preview. Add the frame as an OBS Image source above your camera. Apply the mask to the camera using Image Mask/Blend → Alpha Mask (Alpha Channel), with the same aspect ratio.
About the Webcam Overlay Maker
Build a webcam frame at a specified width and height, with adjustable border thickness and corner radius. Choose Studio, Outline or Broadcast styling and add a label if needed. Export both the decorative transparent frame and a matching alpha mask. The frame sits above the camera as an image source; the mask controls which parts of the camera remain visible through OBS’s Image Mask/Blend filter.

Frequently asked questions
Does the frame crop my camera?
No. The frame decorates the camera. Apply the matching mask to hide the camera’s outside corners or other masked areas.
Which OBS mask mode should I use?
Use Alpha Mask (Alpha Channel) with the exported mask. Its transparent pixels hide parts of the source and its opaque pixels preserve them.
Is the frame animated?
No. The exports are static PNG images.
Do I need to upload my webcam footage?
No. This tool creates graphic assets from the dimensions and style settings you choose.
