Twitch Emote Resizer
Resize static artwork into 28, 56 and 112 pixel PNG emotes with a complete ZIP download.
Resize your emote
Existing transparency is preserved. A solid background in your original image stays solid; this tool does not remove it or create new artwork.
Your emotes at actual size
Choose an image to preview all three sizes.
For Twitch’s manual upload, each static PNG must be square and under 1 MB. These exports use the 28, 56 and 112 pixel sizes. Artwork must also follow Twitch’s emote guidelines.
About the Twitch Emote Resizer
Turn an existing static PNG, JPEG or WebP image into 28×28, 56×56 and 112×112 PNG files. Fit preserves the whole image with padding, while crop fills the square. The nearest-neighbor option offers a pixel-art alternative to smooth resizing. Inspect each export at its actual size before downloading the set as a ZIP. This tool resizes artwork; it does not draw emotes, remove backgrounds or process animated files.
Features

Frequently asked questions
Can I resize animated GIF emotes?
No. This tool supports static PNG, JPEG and WebP artwork. Animated formats are rejected rather than intentionally converted to a single frame.
Will this remove a white background?
No. It preserves existing transparency, but it does not remove a background already present in the artwork.
Does resizing guarantee Twitch acceptance?
No. Twitch also reviews content and file requirements. These are the three manual-upload dimensions; static emotes must meet Twitch’s current PNG and file-size rules.
When should I use nearest-neighbor resizing?
Try it for pixel art and compare the actual-size result. It retains hard pixel boundaries, while smooth resizing can suit other artwork better.
