Frequently asked questions
Which letters are counted?
The current matcher recognizes ASCII letters and Latin characters in U+00C0–U+024F. It does not cover every writing system. Numbers, spaces and most punctuation are ignored.
Are accented letters folded into plain letters?
No. Case-insensitive mode lowercases letters but does not remove accents, so é and e remain separate.
